Coin Dealer Insight: The Rhode Island state quarter has many errors to be aware of. The most common errors are; Double Die (double strikes), off center or broadstrikes, and partial clads. It appears the die cracked or partially cracked as well because there are many examples with die crack errors. Thomas D. Rodgers was the engraver. A yacht can be seen sailing on the reverse. Also the Newport Bridge is in the background. The words "The Ocean State" are present as well.
