Coin Dealer Insight: In 1937, with a good supply of Washington quarters in circulation, the Mint reduced overall production almost in half. Philadelphia produced just under 20 million quarters and San Francisco produced less than 2 million. However, Denver saw a slight increase in their run by producing just under 8 million for 1937. There is also a double die obverse minted at Philadelphia with values some 20 times higher than common quarters.
